The journey will be continued to see a traditional gubuk
farmhouse made of mud bricks, and then discover the
fragrant spices which first attracted the early European
explorers to these "Spice Islands". We will
also taste the locally grown tea or coffee in the quite
of the Balinese hinterland or perhaps to meet the brilliant
blue kingfisher, the sacred bird of Bali. The next is
experiencing some of the most spectacular scenery on
earth, with centuries-old rice terraces cut into the
sides of the steep hills, their colors emerald green
or golden yellow depending on the season. To see a hot
mineral spring where Balinese have bathed for centuries,
and to explore an ancient quarry where stones are still
cut by traditional methods to build the temples and
shrines of the island. To relax with a delicious lunch
in the cool and comfort of the Rain Forest Camp, high
in the mountains, and deep in a forest of giant bamboo's.
The
Beach Front Club overlooks a private bay at Lembongan
Island. It is an idyllic location set amongst more
than one hectare of tropical trees. The "Club"
boasts a spectacular fresh water swimming pool, shaded

CYCLING Our mountain cycling descent the Batur Trail
offers you a superb, exhilarating trip. We take you
to our start-point 5,000 feet above see level on the
lip of the volcano Mount Batur. Then we set off with
our knowledgeable guides on an easygoing two-and a half-hour
downhill trip. Secret back roads take you through dense
rain forest, through gves of giant bamboo, past picture
postcard rice-terraces and amid sleepy traditional mountain
village to the artistic center of Ubud for Lunch. Inclusions
