Set in the Nusa Dua Peninsula, close to Sanur, Kuta and downtown Denpasar, and 20 minutes' drive from Bali airport, Ngurah Rai International Airport, Grand Hyatt Bali was designed to reflect a Balinese water palace and the hotel features clusters of low-rise buildings and private villas among waterfall-fed pools and landscaped hotel gardens on 40 lush acres.

Grand Hyatt Bali's individually controlled, air-conditioned hotel guest rooms and suites feature interior design that utilises muted batik fabrics, graceful bamboo and the many native arts and crafts of Bali. The hotel's satellite TV and international direct dial telephones help hotel guests stay connected with the outside world - but only if they choose.

Accommodation

The first thing you notice is how much elbow room you have at Grand Hyatt Bali. In addition to the many choices of guest rooms, restaurants and recreational activities within the complex, you are never crowded, unless you want to be, in this personal paradise.

Grand Hyatt Bali is comprised of 659 guest rooms, suites and villas scattered on 40 acres of landscaped tropical gardens, along a pristine stretch of soft sand beach. Most accommodation has private balconies or gardens, admitting the flow of fresh, frangipani-scented breezes, or you can choose air circulated by paddle ceiling fans or individual climate-controlled air conditioning.

Bali is world renowned for its signature style. The interior design of all guest rooms at Grand Hyatt Bali blends traditional Balinese style with contemporary modern conveniences. Sensitive to the tropical garden environment, the guest rooms are clustered in four low-rise 'villages' where none of the buildings are higher than the tallest palm tree.

Guests in the Grand Club® also enjoy the Club's own lounge and swimming pool. It is manned by a dedicated team of Grand Club® Concierges, butlers and housekeepers.

The 41 suites feature a tasteful selection of cool, cotton-covered furniture and original native art or craft pieces.

Camp Nusa caters to our younger guests, aged between 3 and 13 years old. Parents can enjoy the main resort facilities knowing that their children are in the care of qualified childcare professionals. Organised activities include fish feeding, sports and games, Balinese arts and crafts, even kids' tennis and squash clinics. Full theme events, such as 'Bali Dance Craze' or 'Cartoon Capers', can be arranged for any group with a minimum of ten children.

For genuine international specialities from the best of Asia and Europe's myriad of cuisine, Garden Café is the perfect place. At Salsa Verde, a poolside Italian restaurant overlooking the pristine Indian Ocean, guests may savour a lively selection of antipasti, pizzas and seafood in a sunny and casual setting. Dine beneath the stars in a torch-lit private garden at Pasar Senggol. Here, Bali's art, culture and vitality are displayed for guests' enjoyment. Experience the island's famous dance performances, eat at a host of food stalls and watch artisans create woodcarvings and paintings for which the island is highly renowned.

The Watercourt Balinese restaurant serves authentic Balinese cuisine in a setting reminiscent of the legendary water palaces of Bali. Nampu, the Japanese restaurant, features a very contemporary teppanyaki section, a casual dining room with three mini open kitchens and four teppanyaki counters, and a wide sake selection, perfectly serving a fun-filled and exciting dining experience.
