RELIGIOUS WEDDING Ceremony in Bali

 

A religion ceremony must be performed before civil wedding only. Therefore for those who WOULD or HAS already been legally married in their country but wish to exchange their vows or even renew their vows may takes this type of service. It is important that Indonesia will marry any couple who hold one of the 5 religions recognized by this country (Protestant, Catholic, Moslem, Hindu and Buddhism) and actually refer that the couple are of the same religious belief, the religion wedding only is performed by are representative of the own couple’s religious belief i.e. Protestant couple may not have a Hindu ceremony but possible to have a Balinese Blessing Symbolic only.


There are 5 kinds religion wedding you can choose:
 

Christian/Protestant Wedding in Bali

Protestant wedding/ Church of England is religious wedding lead by the Protestant Celebrant called “PASTOR”. The easiest wedding ceremony and requirements is protestant way, it doesn’t require much paperwork. The couple will received certificate of Marriage from the Protestant Church in Bali and the couple can continued to have the civil wedding only to legalize the wedding at the same time and the same venue then you will get one more certificate of marriage from Civil Minister both in English and Indonesia and these certificates are will be legal in your country too.

Document required for Merried in Bali:
• Copy of passport (both partners)
• Copy of birth certificate (both partners)
• Copy of decree absolute if divorce
• Widower must present a copy of death certificate of the former spouse.
• Copy of passport of the two witnesses
• 4 Pieces of photograph size 4 x 6 together, the groom in the right side

 

Catholic Wedding in Bali

Catholic wedding is religious wedding lead by Catholic Priest called “ROMO” wedding by way Catholic way will be required much paper works and both partner must be single status, Catholic Church will not allowed for divorce person to marriage again except if the former spouse is not Catholic. The Priest will come to the hotel/ villa where you perform the ceremony. This ceremony will be legal by the religion only.

Document required for Merried in Bali:
• Copy of passport (both partners)
• Copy of birth certificate (both partners)
• Baptism certificates both partners
• Libert status from parish contacts the Priest in your country (both of you)
• Delegation letters from Parish contact the Priest in your country (both of you)
• Canon investigation from contact Parish Priest in your country (both of you)
• Copy of passport two witnesses
• 4 (Four) pieces of photograph size 4 x 6

 

Balinese Blessing in Bali

Many couple who are already legally married or some reason don’t want to be legally married in Bali, but still wish to have experience how marriage by Balinese tradition, they’re tried Balinese Blessing Ceremony. It’s important to know that this is not legal wedding ceremony and no certification will be presented at the end of it. It is ceremony where the celebrant should pray for good things such as: safety, health, bright future and happiness for the couple. It takes approximately 20minutes in total, performed by a Balinese Celebrant and an assistant who guide the couple through the ceremony. It’s preferred that couples be dressed in Balinese costume.

There is no document required for Balinese blessing.

 

Buddhist Wedding in Bali

Buddhist Wedding is the wedding ceremony which is conducted by Buddhist Celebrant called "MONK" and the ceremony is only can be performed at the Buddhist temple called Vihara, the Monk will not allowed to come to the hotel/villas or venue to conduct and blessing your wedding as it has been one of the rule and regulation from Buddhist Society called WALUBI even tough Bali Exotic Wedding will able to assist you to hold the wedding in this way and we will take you to the closest Vihara in Bali.

 

Moslem Wedding in Bali

Moslem wedding is one of the Legal religious weddings, which is conducted by Moslem Minister called “Penghulu”. After the ceremony the couple will received the marriage certificate from the celebrants called “ Buku Nikah “ that issued by Moslem Courts called “ KUA” (Kantor Urusan Agama) which is already legalized by the government and this certificate will be legal in Indonesia and in other country too after translated to the couple’s language at their representative Consulate within Indonesia.

Document required for Merried in Bali:
• Copy of passport (both partners)
• Copy of KTP (Kartu Tanda Penduduk) for Indonesian
• Copy of birth certificate (both partners)
• Copy of divorce letter if any of you has been married before
• Copy of death certificate and previous marriage certificate (if widowed)
• Surat rujukan dari KUA setempat (N1, N2, N3, N4) for Indonesian
• 6 pieces of photograph size 2 x 3 and 3 x 4 each
